How my family will be changed if a family member started abusing drugs or was addicted

I continue to make personal connections with my background and drugs. This time, I thought about how my family would change if a family member started abusing drugs or was addicted. The fact is, my family would definitely respond sensitively as they all feel responsible of taking care of family members. We would probably try to have some sort of family conferences or just simple 1:1 talks with the drug using family member. If one was addicted, we won't be hesitant in using our money to pay for rehabs, doctors and proffesional treatments. For us, family is much more important than money and so we will give our everything to cure a family member from drug addiction.
